It doesn't matter whether you change the system software or whether you want to use your data in different programs: the data collected and cultivated by you will persist.

The GIM works with  a multitude of system software and moves with you in case of a software system change. Your data will be saved in a tranparent XML-dataformat at any time and can be adopted into other applications, respectively data from different applications with related export functions can be utilized in the GIM.
